The Direction of Science Instruction in the Wachusett Regional School District
A consortium of 26 states is currently developing national science and technology/engineering standards, titled Next Generation Science Standards, that will guide member states, including the Commonwealth, in the revision of their frameworks. In anticipation of these changes, the Wachusett Regional School District is aligning practice with current standards, but evolving an improved, inquiry-based approach to learning.
